Show Council Sets Date For Public Hearing Of City Budget Following a review of next year's tentative city budget, June 17 was set as date of a public hearing by Orem City Council Monday evening. The public is invited to be et the hearing to study the budget and offer suggestions. This will be the regular council coun-cil meeting for that night. Following this review and any changes, the final 1963-64 budget bud-get will be adopted. The council plans to again work on the budget during next week's regular meeting. During Monday's c o uncil meeting, officials studied the budget and attempted to balance bal-ance anticipated expenditures with expected revenue. Other business included Btreet-surfacing problems, and bids for garbage and other trucks for the street department depart-ment A group of citizens residing between 650 East and 850 East and 1200 South requested assistance as-sistance in completion of the street. The area In recent years has been deleted from special Improvements districts due to protests of property owners with large amounts of frontage adequate to require deletion. Mrs. Wil 500 Dancers To Perform in MIA District Festival About 500 youthful dancers in colorful dress will perform under the lights at BYU Stadium Saturday evening in the District Six MIA Dance Festival. Colorful, intricate and-in teresting dances will be presented pre-sented beginning at 8:15 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited. Ballroom dancing will in clude tango, waltz and fox trot. An all-girl section will perform a bright, red-white-and-blue patriotic n u m ber. Three-somes of twogirls and one boy will do the Cha-fia, Lindy and Schottische. In addition, the winning Funeral services for Annie Walton Wilde, 82, of 976 S. 150 E., will be conducted today to-day at 1 p.m. in the Olpin-Sundberg Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary. Mrs. Wilde died Sunday in Provo hospital of complications complica-tions following surgery. She was born May 31, 1881, in Porterville, Morgan County, a daughter of Charles A. and Louisa Ann Buchanan Walton. She married Samuel Wilde Dec. 9,, 1903, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.. A resident of Coalville most of her life, Mrs. Wilde moved to Orem in 1960 and had resided re-sided there since. She was active in the LDS Church organizations. Surviving are her husband, Orem; a son and daughter, Charles Wilde and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard (Louise) Ballantyne, both of Orem; a sister; Mrs. William Wil-liam (Edna) Muir, Rockland, Ida.; a brother, James Walton, serving arn LDS mission in San Angelo, Tex.; two grand-eons grand-eons and five great-grandchildren. The baby died Sunday at Utah Valley Hospital of prematurity. He was born May 29. Surviving are the parents, Orem; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Ray Christensen, Richfield, and Mr. and -Mrs. Vernon Reid, Panguitch; great-grandparents, great-grandparents, Mrs. Mary D. Reid, Panguitch; Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Kofford, and Soren C. Christensen, all of Orem.
