' ' The Three Mile Canyon and Henefer Landfills are open Monday through Saturday, from 8am -4pm; closed on Memorial Day, closed on Sundays. The regular fee is $5.00 per load for pickup truck. Dump trucks with construction and demolition waste are required to dump at the Henefer Landfill. At the Henefer Exit make a right turn; then go left on the frontage road for approx. .5 mile Three Three Mile Canyon Landfill is located at approx. mile marker 255 on State Road 32 on the west side of Rockport Reservoir, between Wanship and Peoa. . . firrr? ltayJHo Leave grass clippings on your lawn after each mowing is the natural way to recycle. Instead of bagging your grass, take, the rear or side bag off your mower and let nature do the rest. Mow your lawn once a week and cut less than a third of the grass bkde. Grass clippings are 85 water. In less than a day, grass clippings shrink in size by 50, filter down into the soil and start breaking down. These clippings return nutrients and nitrogen back to the soil. Grass recycling reduces the need to fertilize the lawn heavily. Leaving ths grass clippings on the lawn does net increase thatch.
