Since only one sale was involved in 1998, statistically significant numbers cannot be compared. Condominiums - 62 condominiums sold in 1998, down 14 percent from 62 sold in 1998. The dollar volume was $13.9 million, a decline of 12 percent from 1998's $15.8 million. Average sales price increased by 2 percent, to $225,405. Tfeaynes Canyon: Single-Family Homes - 11 single-family homes sold (down 31 percent from 16 in 1998). Dollar volume: $10.3 million, mil-lion, down 35 percent from $12.4 million in 1998. Average sales price decreased 5 percent, to $938,181 Lower Deer Valley: Single-Family Single-Family Homes - 14 single-family homes sold (up 17 percent from 12 sold in 1998). Dollar volume: $19.4 million, up 52 percent from $12.8 million in 1998. Average sales price increased by 30 percent, from $927,500 to $1.3 million. Condominiums - 75 condominiums sold in 1999. down 4 percent from 78 sold in 1998. The dollar volume w as $38.2 million, a drop of 12 percent per-cent from 1998's $43.3 million. Average sales price decreased bv 8 percent, from $555,202 to $509,691. Upper Deer Valley: Single-Family Single-Family Homes - 21 single-family homes sold (up one from 1998). Dollar volume: $70.9 million, up 5 percent from $67.2 million in 1998. Average sales was nearly level at $3.4 million. Condominiums - 37 condominiums sold in 1999. the same number as were sold in 1998. The dollar volume was $49.8 million, mil-lion, an uptick of 15 percent from 1998 $43.2 million. Average sales price jumped by 15 percent, from $1.1 million to $13 million. Deer Crest (a new breakout for this report): Single-Family Homes - No single-family homes changed hands, but two are actively listed for sale. AerieDeer Valley Entrance: Single-Family Homes - Five single-family single-family homes sold in 1W, against three for 1998. Dollar volume was up 67 percent at $3.4 million, but average sales price was level at $688,050. Condominiums - 7 condominiums con-dominiums sold in 1999, dow n 59 percent from 17 sold in 1998. Tha dollar volume was S2.2 million. a decline of 56 percent from 1998 $5 million. Average sales price increased bv 8 percent, from $297,730 to $320,129. Snydenille WestPark West: Single-Family Homes 62 single-family single-family homes sold (down 14 percent per-cent from 72 in 1998). Condominiums - 34 condominiums condo-miniums sold in 1999, up 21 percent per-cent from 28 sold in 1998. The dollar dol-lar volume was $9.5 million, an uptick of 83 percent from 1998 $52 million.
