With two minutes left to play, Grisevich got his second goal of the night, and ninth in two games, when Shawn Ackerman hit Grisevich, who was alone in front of the net, with a beautiful cross-ice pass. Grisevich redirected the puck past the goalie for a two-goal Brackmans lead. They would need the extra cushion as the Green Parrot turned the heat up a notch in the final minutes. The Parrot tapped a rebound past Lund to pull within one with 1:05 left to play. They then pulled their goalie for an extra skater in hopes of tying the score. On the night, Lund made 29 saves, 19 of them coming in the third period. On Sunday, March 13 Brackmans can win the championship with a win over the winner of Saturday's Green Parrot versus Provo Icemen rematch. Game time is 5:45 p.m. at the Cottonwood Heights Arena. PC Masters host world For the first time ever, Utah will host the International Masters Championships March 14-17 at the Park City Ski Area. This year, the Park City Masters are looking forward to hosting 300 of the world's best masters skiers on their home turf. Races will take place on the Willy's, Payday 'and Clementine runs at Park City. Members of the Park City Masters program were also recently named to the Intermountain Division team for the upcoming National Championships at Big Sky, Mont Competing will be Robert Avers, Brian Burnett, John Bloomberg, Ned Dolan, Margee Hinkley, Dasha Kadulova, Gary Loritz, Keith McCauley, Dennis McGrail, Alice Olch, Bill Skinner, Bill Tabar and Alf Wold. These, and other Park City racers, will be competing in the Internationals next week at Park City. PC freestylers romp in division titles Locals sail to piacmgs in So. Dunn was third at Snowbird and Schirman seventh, but in the Intermountain Division, Schirman took top honors with Dunn second. Finally in the M4s, Nate Roberts was first on Saturday and first for the year. Moving to this side of the Wasatch on Sunday, the event switched venues and disciplines. It was time for upright aerials at Bear Hollow, and conditions, like those at Snowbird, weren't great. On Sunday, it was M2 skier Mick Berry's turn to get hurt, hitting a rough landing on his second jump wrenching his knee. In spite of the injury, Berry picked up 21.40 points and took fourth place for the day. He was second in aerials in the Intermountain Division for the M2 category. Dunn turned the tables on fellow Parkite Nat Schirman in the M3 division. Dunn's spread-double twist-spread earned him first place on the day and first overall in the air for the M3's season. Schirman finished third Sunday and third overall. In the M4 division, Roberts was second on Sunday with a 20.29-point 20.29-point score and third for the season. Continuing her string of perfect finishes at Bear Hollow, Tsialas took Sunday's competition with 20.66 points and finished first for the season in the air to go with her fifth in the bumps. Park City's freestylers are currently in Winter Park, Colo, competing in the Junior National Championships. Berry was planning on competing despite the injury to his knee. Local sailors, including 1996 Olympic hopeful Marc Jacobr, travelled to San Diego for the Laser class Midwinters West Championship, held Feb. 25-27, Jacobi, the highest-placing Utahn at the event, placed eighth out of 135 competitors in the Gold Fleet competition, which drew sailors from across the United States and Canada. Canadian Olympic contender Jason Rhodes won the event for the second straight year. In the six-race series, Jacobi had finishes of third, second, 30th, 21st, eighth and 11th. Three other Utahns, including Parkite Doug DuBois, raced in the Silver Fleet. DuBois finished 29th! Marshall Pardey was 37th and his, wife Elaine finished 55th. The Pardeys are from Salt Lake.
