Frank Sinatra's has been performing professionally for almost 60 years. After countless hits and awards, he retired in 1971 but not for long. Recipes from home and professional chefs will be judged in separate categories and will be judged on taste, ease of preparation, originality and plate appeal. Four home chefs and four professional chefs with the most outstanding recipes will each be awarded $1,000. The deadline for submitting recipes is May 2, 1994. Court sentences three Kirk Openshaw of Payson, date of birth 61459, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was fined $1,000, of which $600 was suspended. He was also sentenced to 120 days in jail, of which 1 10 days were suspended. Openshaw also pleaded guilty to spouse abuse. He was fined $450, of which $400 was suspended. He was also required to perform eight hours of community service and to attend alcohol and domestic violence classes. Kristi Terzian of Park City, date of birth 42267, pleaded guilty to having a dog at large. She was fined $200, of which $175 was suspended. Mark Moyer of Park City, date of birth 12167, pleaded guilty to having a dog that attacked a personanother animal. He was fined $1,850 and ordered to pay a further $706 of the victim's medical bills. Thedog was returned to him after being housed at the Summit County Animal Shelter and the White Pine Veterinary Clinic. Moyer was ordered to enclose his property, not to walk the dog without a muzzle, to have the dog neutered within 90 days, not to take the dog to work and not to allow the dog to attack other animals or people. Hogle Zoo is recruiting docent volunteers Utah's Hogle Zoo is looking for volunteers, 17 years of age and older, to spend enjoyable and informative hours at the zoo. An orientation for new Discovery Center docents will be held Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. in the auditorium on the zoo grounds, located southwest . of the train station. Docents are volunteer teachers and ambassadors to the public, who are trained in zoo wildlife, teaching techniques, zoo history and theory, and animal handling. Volunteers will be trained in the mentor program to handle animals such as parrots, tortoises, ferrets, opossums, lizards and will educate zoo visitors and the community about zoo animals. The volunteers must be available to staff the zoo's Discovery Center one morning or afternoon every other week.
