Berry Brazelton, nationally renowned pediatrician, author and lobbyist, is coming to Salt Lake City, April 12-13. In addition to his previous work on 180 scientific papers and 24 published books on pediatrics and child development, Brazelton is a regular contributor to Family Circle magazine and writes a weekly column syndicated by The New York Times. Brazelton will conduct an evening seminar, "Challenges and Support to Families in the '90s" on Tuesday, April 12 from 7-9 p.m. at Highland High School, 2166 S. 1766 E Salt Lake City. The cost is $5 per person. In this seminar for parents and those interested in parenting issues, he will combine a lecture on contemporary parenting issues and child development with a lengthy interactive question and answer period. On Wednesday, April 13, from 8 a.m. till S p.m., there will be a conference for professionals at Salt Lake Community College, Calvin Rampton Technology Building, Room 203, 4600 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City. This daylong day-long conference, "Working with Children and Families," will feature Brazelton and a faculty of nationally-recognized authorities on child development and behavior who will discuss critical issues affecting children. Cost for the conference is $70, including lunch and print materials or $90 for continuing education credit (one unit). Elene and Hall Jenson I mmJm Elene and Hall Jenson have been called to serve an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Nebraska, Omaha Mission, Winter Quarters Visitors Center. The Jensons have been married for 42 years. They came to Park City eight years ago to manage Summit Storage. They have a ranch in northern Montana, where they lived for 33 years. They have seven children and 30 grandchildren. The Jeremy Ranch ward has scheduled a farewell service for them beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 13 at the Kilby Road chapel.
