Show Continued from A4 would be good for me. 3 times a ; day I hate. But I go along the best I ; can. I know it is important to I him..." ; November 16th 1984 "...Last Sunday the Bishops of the ward called me in and said they were aware I was up the canyon alone without a car and they felt if Don wouldn't mind that the Church would like to help me out in this matter and get a car because it was a real hardship not to have a car. I told them Don would never aprove and I lied and said Don would get me a car as so as he could, that he was trying, they told me they would help me get food and clothing for the children so perhaps we could spend what money we had to get a car and pay bills. Again I had to say no, I said if there was a way I could work for some of those things I would try and do that. I feel foolish and helpless. At the very time I was talking to the Bishops Don is home planing to spend $1000.00 on a TV disk so we can have satalite TV. Don plans to give the money in cash next week. And here I am saying I don't have a car because we don't have the money. I don't have a shower or bathtub, enough water, a wash, or money for the kids clothes, birthday bir-thday or Christmas but Don is making good money and we will have TV. I don't think I love Don anymore, sometimes I can't remember how it even felt to be in love..." Dec. 26, 1984 "...Vicki Singer brought a box of oranges and a gift for each of us, from Santa. They leave it on the steps and run but I'm shore it was her. I had the kids gather up some stuff for the poor people at the rescue mission, but Don took back alot of the things we wanted to give. He dosn't like me to give things away. I wish I could teach the kids the joy of giving..." Goldie is now married to a lawyer, this realy upset Don and he wanted to get home to talk. When we got home Don wanted to know if I was mad at him becuase he gone to the wedding or the party at mothers. I told him no I wasn't. I said I wasn't going to leave him, I wasn't going to get a divorce, I said lets Just go along and keep pease in the family and make things nice for the little kids as we can. I didn't want to talk, i knew I was a little tippy and I know that I shouldn't talk at all when I'v had to much to drink. But Don Just wouldn't give up and at last he got me mad, and I told him I thought it was rotton of him to upset his mother. I told him I was not mad because he had not come to the wedding or mothers party. He was not fun, he would have only made everyone uncomfortable. uncom-fortable. I enjoy myself much more without him. I didn't want anymore children. I didn't think he was much of a father to those he had. I told him it was rotton of him not to visit Jason in the hospital or talk to him now. I told Don he was an embarrassment em-barrassment to me because of the way he treats Amy and because I don't have car and I have to put up with all kinds of things he knows nothing about because of him. Don said that he had never had any other women and that he loved me. I think that is what made me so mad. I said something about how could love me and care so little lit-tle about my needs, he never gives me money or cares about my feelings feel-ings and I'v given up on having a car. I have to bum a ride off people to even get the kids to a doctor. He leaves me no pride at all. My whole blowup lasted about 5 min. Don didn't say any more and I went to sleep. I think Don is glad I'm not going to leave him. Even without anther baby I'm well trapped. But Don has better sense that organizes Miner's Day and this year's chaiman, Ben Vallor, has organized a full day of festivities with the help of Rotary volunteers.
