The popular fast food chain's latest attraction attrac-tion opened its doors for business busi-ness on Feb. 2 and will celebrate his rw location and a special grand opening in American Fork, on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. The American Fork restaurant, restau-rant, which has the distinction of being both a Hogi Yogi and a Tiki Teriyaki restaurant in one, will celebrate their grand opening open-ing by featuring two-for-one specials from the restaurant's health conscious menu. Drawings will also be held to win hats, t-shirts, gift certificates certifi-cates for free food and more. Hogi Yogi and Tiki Teriyaki are located on 650 E. State Street (old First Security Bank building) build-ing) in the Fred Meyer Shopping Center in American Fork. Hogi Yogi has enjoyed growing grow-ing popularity for nearly a decade. Sandwiches or hoagies (hogi) and fat-free yogurt (yogi hence the name) served a variety of ways offer an alternative alterna-tive to greasy fast foods. Hogi Yogi has recently added blended fruit drinks, or "smoothies," to their menu, which can be made with various health supplements supple-ments such as protein and ginseng. gin-seng. The Tiki Teriyaki concept evolved more recently, bringing traditional Japanese food into the fast food industry. They feature fea-ture hot dishes as well as a selection of sushi. The name has recently been changed from Teriyaki Bowi to Tiki Teriyaki and there are currently eight Tiki Teriyaki's located throughout through-out Utah. The Hogi Yogi Corporation began in 1989. Capitalizing on the increased interest in healthy yet delicious foods, the first Hogi Yogi store in Logan quickly grew into 90 plus stores located throughout the Western United States. Hogi Yogi Corporate Headquarters are in Provo. Relationship workshop series offered for singles The second in a series of workshops on building lasting relationships for single adults over 30 will be held Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. Presented by Dr. Lynn Scoresby, it will be held at the LDS Seminary building north of American Fork High School, 480 N. 600 East, American Fork. Registration fee is $10 for those who did not attend the first workshop. It covers all six workshops, with the remaining ones offered March 27, April 24, May 22 and June 19. Dalton Luanne Isom Dalton, 26, of Pleasant Grove passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 1998 in American Fork. She was born April 24, 1971 in St. George, Utah to Thomas Richard and Kathleen LaRue Lunt Isom. Luanne lived a righteous . life as a faithful servant of her Father in Heaven. She loved ; life, her husband Stan, and her precious son Stan. She '. served a faithful mission to ; Arcadia, California and served ; faithfully in many Church callings. She loved the Lord .' and He loved her. She was preceded in death by twin sons. She is survived by her husband Stanley of ' Pleasant Grove and her son . Stan; her parents T. Richard Doris I Wanlass Doris Turner Wanlass, 77 :of Lehi, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998 of causes incident inci-dent to age. She was born Nov. 19, 1920 in Lehi, Utah to Herbert Robert and Nellie O s h e a Nelson Turner. She married Elmo J. Wanlass June 15, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Elmo died Nov. 2, 1966. She was a devoted home-maker, home-maker, a wonderful cook and did beautiful embroidery work. Her life was spent raising rais-ing her large family. She was a member of the LDS Church. Survived by six sons and three daughters, Roy (Joan) Wanlass, LaRaine (Tex) Chatwin, Lisa (Bill) Beveridge, all of Lehi; Richard (Lynne) Wanlass, Bruce (Brenda) Wanlass, Larry (Lynn) Wanlass, Shirley Bloomfield, all of American Fork: Jay (Eloise) Wanlass, Benicia, Ca ; Johnny (Debbie) Wanlass, Tooele; 23 . grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Kay "Dutch" (Judy) Turner, : American Fork; sister, Dea (Ross) Dumas, Lehi; she was ; preceded in death by two sisters, sis-ters, Velma, Evelynn; four brothers, Rex, Jack, Holly ;"Duff", Luke; and three grandsons. Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 14 in the .Lehi City Cemetejy. Luanne, we love you and will cherish your memory. Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, in the Timpanogos Fourth Ward Chapel, Pleasant Grove. Burial was in the East Lawn Cemetery, Provo, Utah. Services were under the direction direc-tion of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. We, the family of Lucille E. Brooks, would like to express our love and appreciation to all family and friends who have in any way touched our lives at the passing of our Mother.
