Lloyd Brooks, age 81 of Lehi passed away peacefully peace-fully on Feb. 10, 1998 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. Lucille was born in Ri verton , Utah, on Oct. 4, 1916, the fourth of five children to Thomas Butler Lloyd and Mary Andersen Lloyd. She attended schools in the Jordan School District through 10th grade. She married mar-ried John Albert Brooks, of Lehi on June 8, 1933. Their marriage was solemnized a year later in the Salt Lake Temple. They made their first home in Riverton for 3 12 years, during dur-ing which time they were blessed with two children. Lehi then became home for the balance bal-ance of their lives. While here, they were blessed with four more children. In addition to being wife and mother, she spent her life supporting her husband on their family farm, in his construction business and all o1;her pursuits until his death on March 18, 1982. From the time of Bert's death, to the present, except for winter visits with her daughter Beverly, in Grand Junction, Lucille has enjoyed her home with her daughter, Mrs. Orville Vibbert Orville Vibbert, our sweetheart, sweet-heart, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away at his home in Lehi, Feb. 14, 1998, at the age of 89. He was born Feb. 16, 1908 in Summer Shade, Kentucky, to Charlie and Myrtie Sartain Vibbert. He , married Rowene Russon, Oct. 22, 1943ln Twin Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Jan. 17, 1957. Orville was a farmer and spent many years farming in LehT with his partner, John Price. Ha had lived in Kentucky ana Idaho before coming to Utahl He was a High Priest in thtj LDS Church and a friend to all Survived by his wife of Lehi one daughter, Karla (Arthur Harding, Lehi; 5 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Verda Stuart, Chloe Baigrie Kenneth (Cornie) Grace in Lehi. Besides her great love and devotion for her family and friends, she has enjoyed a life long gifted talent, that of music. Over her life, she bas gladly shared her music with many. Lucille was an active member mem-ber in the LDS Church. She held vairous positions in the auxiliary organizations, one of which was primary teacher in the moonbeam class at the State Training School. She loved people and enjoyed serving serv-ing others. Her life has been devoted to family and friends alike. Over the past few years she has greatly enjoyed her association with her friends in their family home evening group. She is survived by six children: chil-dren: Mrs. Dan (Beverly) Evans, Grand Junction, Co.; Ralph A. (Sandy) Brooks, Levan, Utah; Lloyd R. (Linda) Brooks; Bert Norman (Vera) Brooks; Mrs. Kenneth (Connie) Grace, all of Lehi; and Nolan T. (Marie) Brooks of Highland; 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; grand-children; and two great great grandchildren, plus six additional addi-tional new babies due by summer. sum-mer. Additional survivor is one sister, Mrs. Bill (Joy) Slater, Riverton. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in the Lehi 8-20 Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Marion Bingham, and Myrtle Bean, all of Idaho; Mary Alice Franks, Pendleton, Oregon; sister-in-law, Hannah Viblert, Idaho. He was preceeded in death by a daughter, Laura Mavis Jackson, great-grandchild, Devin Max Harding, brother, Raymond Vibbert, and sister, Buelah Louder. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 17 in the Lehi 9th Ward LDS Chapel. A special spe-cial viewing was held in honor of his 90th birthday on Monday evening. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society. J. Clifford Miller John Clifford Miller, age 89, beloved father, grandfather, great-grand father, and passed away on Feb., 13, 1998 at the American F r k Hospital of causes incident inci-dent to age. He was born on Fib. 11, 1909, in Mammoth, Utah to John Henry Miller and Melissa Openshaw. He married Thelma Read on June 17, 1925, in Coalville, Utah. Their marriage was later sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. He spent his working career as part owner and manager of the Coral Theater in American Fork and the Royal Theater in Lehi. Cliff and Thelma were the parents of four sons, Clifford Read Miller, John Dale Miller, Neil Kay Miller, and Craig Allen Miller. His wife, Thelma, died on Sept. 24, 1972. He later married Ester Finch on Nov. Gwyn W. Larsen Ethel Gwyn West Larsen, 82, of Pleasant Grove passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998 at her home. She was born March 5, 1915 in Lynndyl, Utah to John Everett and Ethel Mae Hilton West. She married Joseph W. Larsen on Oct. 4,1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded pre-ceded her in death in 1990. She grew up and received her education in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1932. After graduation she attended Brigham Young University. She raised her family fam-ily in Pleasant Grove and worked at the American Fork Hospital for 13 years. i She was an active member of ' the LDS church and held vari- 18, 19o6. He is survived by his Ester; wife sons Clifford (Cleo) Miller and Neil (Beth) Miller, ; both of' American Fork; Craig (Stephanie) Miller of Taylorsville, 20 grandchil dren; 49 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Keith Miller of Pleasant Grove, and sisters Verda Fagan, Elaine Howes, Marie Reimschiissel, and Marilyn Hansen, all of American Fork. He was preceded preced-ed in death by his wife Thelma, son Dale, and a sister Rowena Boren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi where friends may call from 10-10:45 10-10:45 prior to services.
