Show Thursday, May 10, 2007 14 SPRINGVILLE HERALD SHS saying goodbye to several teachers Mrs. Houser has been a substitute teacher for seven years and a secretary secre-tary and tracker for eleven elev-en years here at SHS. She has five children - three boys and two girls. Her Mrs. Houser favorite memory at SHS is going to watch her own children play sports for the school. Mrs. Houser hopes to spend more time with her family after retirement and to continue playing with her grandchildren. Mrs. Houser will be missed at SHS, but we all hope she has fun playing with her grandchildren! Mr. Eskelson has taught at SHS for three years in the math and Spanish departments. He will be leaving SHS this year to work on his master's degree in math education at the Univer-, Univer-, sity of Michigan. . He is not exactly sure what he will do after he finishes his master's degree; he is thinking about teaching high school again, being ... 1 r " , . . -i f i : : i - 1 V dents and staff at SHS will miss Mr. Eskelson and wish him great future fu-ture success. Though Mrs. Logue has taught P.E. and coached volleyball, basketball, and track and field throughout her career at Spanish Fork Junior High, she has only been here at Springville High for two years, but she will be missed by all those who have ever attend her detention sessions. She was a role model and a friend to everyone here. After retiring, Mrs. Logue plans to move to sunny Roseville, California, Califor-nia, with her husband of 40 years. She has three children, chil-dren, and eleven grandchildren. grandchil-dren. Spending time with her family is one of her favorite things to do, along with being an avid reader, doing crafts, and spending lots of time at Lake Powell water skiing. . Ms. Hatch is a new-lywed new-lywed - she just got married mar-ried this week - congratulations! congrat-ulations! Her principle instrument is the viola, which she loves practicing practic-ing in her spare time. We will all greatly miss Ms. Hatch and the tremendous tremen-dous work that she has done with the orchestra. Mr. Leatham has worked for the last year teaching sophomore and junior English at Springville Spring-ville High School. Next year, he will leave SHS and he will pursue a master's mas-ter's degree in English at Brigham Young University. Univer-sity. He is very knowledgeable knowl-edgeable about literature and is excited to continue his education.
