Well,' no one, except ex-cept the Red Devils themselves, them-selves, who put the world into shock when they marched off the field with exuberance. Blowing their bus horn, they drove their first region victory out of the silent village of Payson Friday night. The Lions brought their 3-1 record to the field against the 04 Red Devils, Dev-ils, but those earlier games didn't matter much in the end. The real games started start-ed Friday, and the Devils Dev-ils came out with a roar of their, own. The Devils closed the half with a touchdown reception by Mike Newbury New-bury from Nate Fullmer, taking the house and going into halftime with a 14-7 lead. A 'Magical' Homecoming Aimee Morin SHS STAFF WRITER "A Magical Homecoming" Homecom-ing" is the theme for this year's homecoming dance! It's going to be so much fun! And the decorations are beautiful!" said Melissa Griffin, Grif-fin, student body secretary. The dance goes from 8 to 1 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23. Tickets are $20 if you buy them Tuesday through Friday, Fri-day, and if you buy them at the door on Saturday, they are $25. Formal dances at SHS are always fun, but dance fun often starts long before be-fore the big night, with creative cre-ative "asking."
