Show SOCIAL EVENTS November 17, 1999 - The Springville Herald - Page Five Shauna Greer, Nathan Newbury temple wedding Shauna Greer, daughter of Dodd and Cathy Greer of Springville, Utah will marry Nathan Ray Newbury, son of Ray and Pat Newbury also of Springville, on Thursday, November 18, 1999 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor on Saturday, November 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hunter Valley LDS Church, 1095 S. 1700 East, Springville. Shauna graduated from Springville High School in 1998 and is presently a sophomore at Brigham Young University majoring in dance education. She is working in the gift shop at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Springville. Nathan also graduated from SHS, in 1995. He served an LDS mission in Morristown, New Jersey. He is currently employed by Oakland Construction and attends Utah Valley State College Col-lege where he is majoring in business. Michelle Hall, Jesse Hafen temple vows Allen and Faye Hall of Spanish Fork, Utah are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Michelle, to Jesse Neil Hafen, son of Cindy Hafen of Salt Lake and Terry and Sherri Hafen of Mapleton. Michelle and Jesse will be sealed in the Manti LDS Temple on Friday, November 19, 1999. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 1750 E. 750 South, Spanish Fork. Friends and family are invited to attend. Michelle is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School with an Associates Degree from Utah Valley State College. She is currently employed at Title Writers in Provo. Jesse is a graduate of Timpview High School and is currently attending UVSC. He served an LDS Mission in Detroit. Michigan. He is employed em-ployed at Convergys. They plan to make their home in Springville. Anna Ruiz to marry Kelly Bird on Saturday Announcement is made by Gonzalo and Ana Maria Ruiz of the engagement of their daughter, Anna P., to Kelly G. Bird, son of Marjorie S. Bird and Randy Bird. The couple plans to be married on Saturday, November 20, 1999. A reception will be held for the newlyweds that evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Springville LDS Stake Center, 246 S. 600 East, Kolob Circle, Cir-cle, Springville. The bride-to-be graduated from Esbaymer High School in Chihuahua, Mexico. She attended two years of college and served an LDS mission in Mexico City, Mexico, North Mission. She has been employed at Banta ISG in Spanish Fork for three years. The prospective groom attended Springville High School and served an LDS mission in Roosevelt, Roo-sevelt, California. The couple plans to be married on Friday, November 19, 1999 in the St. George LDS Temple. A reception will be held for the couple on Tue., Nov. 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Springville Spring-ville Museum of Art. All friends and family are invited to attend. The bride-to-be graduated from Cedar High School and attended Southern Utah University. She is currently employed as a dental assistant. The prospective groom graduated from Springville High School and Brigham Young University with a degree in economics. He served an LDS mission in Moscow, Russia and is employed em-ployed as a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles.
