Clair Barney Clair Barney of Springville, Utah, our beloved husband and father passed away on June 30, 1998, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Enterprise, Utah. Clair was born July 1, 1939, . in Escalante, Utah, . to Lilly May Mooseman and Royal Barney. He was the 13th of 14 Children. Chil-dren. Clair was a man of great character and heart. His unconditional love and respect for others won him instant popularity. He was a recognized leader among many of his peers. Clair was a "people person" whose enthusiasm for life was unmatched. He had great business sense and was the author of many successful ventures and enterprises throughout through-out his life. He was an example to others, and many will remain forever forev-er touched by the positive posi-tive influence he had in their life. He was the type of father figure that endowed en-dowed faith, courage and love upon his children. He was an affectionate husband, who could bring calmness with a simple expression of comfort. He hail a great love and appreciation for music and was blessed with a beautiful voice. He was the type of man whose personality and character will never be surpassed in this world, a man of spiritual stature and rare qualities, a benefactor of many talents and a personl friend of all. '30 wan M Tn. July 8, OBITUARIES Georgia Georgia Wilson died July 3, 1998 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Her loving husband of 55 years was at her side, as was one daughter. She was born in Provo, August 11, 1922 to George Arlaf and Emily Theadora Hansen Norman. She was the sixth of seven children. Her mother died when Gorgia was only five years old. She attended schools in Provo and was later married to Darrell Wilson on December 18, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She worked at Dixon Taylor Russell Co. in Provo, for the Nebo School Lunch Program for 15 years, for Fritzy Clothing and for Springville Spring-ville Meat Company for 15 years. Her church service includes: Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher (15 yrs.), . Jr. Sunday School Coordinator, Coordina-tor, Y.W. President and teacher, visiting teacher, home teaching partner with her husband and Den Mother. She and her husband also served the church in Fiji and Tonga from 1972-73, and while there she was asked to teach English to the natives at Liahona High. She is survived by her husband of Springville; Spring-ville; two daughters and one son: Lynda Mae Frackrell, Connnie Lee Clair Barney Vegas; Wendell Howard Barney, Spanish Fork; Terry Barney, Henderson Hende-rson NV, Juanita Barney Alvey Felix, Fern L. Val was an outstanding outstand-ing athlete and played baseball for Provo High School and Utah Technical Techni-cal College. He received recognition for Outstanding Outstand-ing College Athlete in 1972. He. also attended BYU for a time. He worked as a security guard for the Intel Corporation. Cor-poration. Val served a mission for the LDS Church to Southern England (British (Brit-ish South). Other positions posi-tions he filled were: Sunday School Teacher, YM President, Elders Quorum President, Sunday Sun-day School President and counselor. Executive Secretary and Ward Clerk. He has also been a worker in the Provo Temple. He currently . served as a High Priest in the Springville Fourth Ward. Val is survived by his wife; two daughters Douglas M. Fullmer Douglas Marvil Fullmer, formerly of Monterey Park, California, Califor-nia, passed away June 30, 1998. Doug was born April 8, 1944 in Payson, Utah. Doug lived most of his life in Southern California where he was a member of the Operating Operat-ing Engineers, Local 12. He was meticulous in operating huge cranes and other equipment and was always caring for the safety of others. For 36 years he always took pride in doing the job right. Doug was preceded in death by his loving mother, Ida Packard Fullmer. He is survived by his father, Bert L. Fullmer; brother Russell P. Fullmer; daughter, Beth Whaley and husband hus-band James; and two Jodie Jensen Jodie Jensen, 89, of Springville, died July 5, 1998. He was born October 2, 1908 in Springville to John Nephi and Minnie Hannah Han-nah Cherrington Jensen. He married LaVern Betts. She preceded him in death in 1967. He then married Fredone Van Dam. She passed away in 1985. Jodie was raised and attended schools in Springville. He worked for all of the local contractors con-tractors doing road construction most of his life. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church. He is survived by one son and one daughter: daugh-ter: Ronald Jensen of St. George and Kathryn Reese of Boise, ID; 10 grandchildren; 23 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; two sisters, sis-ters, Bessie of Futt-erman, Futt-erman, CA and Reha Bherman, of California.
