Wendy Ann. to Jefferson Clark Pope, son of Louis and Christine Pope of Provo. The couple will be married on Saturday, December Decem-ber 13. 1997 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The groom's grandgather. Bill J. Pope, will officiate at the ceremony. A reception will honor the newlyweds that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Historic County Courthouse. 51 S. University Avenue. Provo. Ail friends and family are invited to attend. Special guests of the evening will be grandparents grandpar-ents of the couple. Ed and Gloria Murdock of Springville: Norman and Colleen Spencer of Mapleton. Marion and Earl Finlayson and Bill and Margaret Pope, all of Provo. The bride-to-be graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary in 1995. She was active in student and city government. She has attended Utah Valley State College and is employed em-ployed by Wing Enterprises. The prospective groom graduated from Timp-view Timp-view High School in 1994 and served an LDS mission in Baton Rouge, Louisianna. The newlyweds will make their first home in Springville while they both continue their education. Emily Peterson, Wesley Whitby temple weddini Lowell and Kathleen Peterson of. Roy, Utah,. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter. Emily, to Mr. Wesley D. Whitby, son of Wesley C. and Shirley Whitby of Springville and Dave and Debra Roquemore of Logan. The couple plans to be married on Thursday. December Decem-ber 18. 1997 in the Ogden LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ogden City Mall Tree-house Tree-house Children's Museum. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Roy High School and a former Miss Roy. She is also a full-time full-time student at Weber State and works at the Treehouse in Ogden. She has been to Russia teaching English to the children there through a Brigham Young University program.
