They also . had three swimmers that took high point in their age groups. The high point trophies went to Sarah Hatfield in the eight and under age group. Amyee Hatfield for the 9-10 girls age group and Ryan Johnston for the 9-10 boys. Congratulations! In the eight and under the following girls made a good showing: Sarah Hatfield took first in the 50-yard breaststroke, second in the 50 and 100-yard 100-yard freestyle, the 100-yard 100-yard individual medley, third in the 50-yard butterfly, and seventh in . the 200-yard freestyle all in the C division. . Kristen Gammell took fourth in the 50-yard freestyle, fifth in the 50-yard 50-yard backstroke, seventh in the 50-yard breast-stroke, breast-stroke, and ninth in the 50-yard 50-yard butterfly in the C division. Stacey MacArthur took seventh in the 50-yard' freestyle, ninth in the 50- yard backstroke, and 10th, in the 50-yard butterfly in the C division. In the 11-12 girls, Kendalee Harmer competed in the A division and took first in the 100 and 200-yard individual in-dividual medley, the 50-yard 50-yard butterfly; second in the 50-yard breaststroke, third in the 500-yard freestyle, fifth in the 100-yard 100-yard freestyle and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle. Marcie Davies swam in the B division and placed first in the 50-yard butterfly, but-terfly, second in the 500-yard 500-yard freestyle, fourth in the 100-yard freestyle, fifth in the 100-yard individual in-dividual medley, sixth in the 200-yard individual medley and seventh in the 3D-yard freestyle. Jennifer Johnston swam in the B division except in the breaststroke Which is in the A division, taking fourth in the 50-yard 50-yard breaststroke, fifth in the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley, 100-yard freestyle; sixth in the 50-yard 50-yard backstroke, 100-yard individual medley; and ninth in the 50-yard freestyle. Sherylyn Billings took second in the 500-yard freestyle in the B division i and first in the 100-yard freestyle, third in the 100-yard 100-yard backstroke, and seventh in the 200-yard individual medley, and the 100-yard butterfly, all in the C division. LaDawn Davies placed . sixth in the 100-yard butterfly, eighth in the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley in the C division. Danielle MacArthur took 10th in the 50-yard freestyle in the C division and improved in her other events. For the 13-14 boys, Brian Hutchings was in the C division and took second in the 100-yard butterfly, fourth in the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard 100-yard freestyle and ninth in the 200-yard individual and the 100-yard breaststroke. Richard Bensen took 10th in the 100-yard backstroke , in,. the. C division and made a good showing in his"-other events. In all, the team did an excellent job and if we had more swimmers in the older age groups we could place higher at the meets. Why not come and join the team for an enjoyable en-joyable summer of fun and competition. Jennifer Allan, Jerilee Phillips and Toni Jensen placed in the 100-yard dash to sweep all points. Relay and Medley teams remain unchallenged un-challenged with very good times. Runners in these events are: J. Allan, J. Phillips, T. Jensen, K. Bachelder, A. Sparks, H. Nemelka, K. Wilson and M. Child. In the field events, all Springville girls took first place.. T. Jensen and J. Allan in the broad jump, A. Taggart in the high v jump, and L. Burt in the shot put. Next track meet will be in Spanish, Fork, Reservations to be token al Hobble Creek golf course Golfers can call for a reservation to play golf at Hobble Creek.
