In the bottom of the fourth, Lady Ute Whitney Robb got on base. Ashley Gurr came to the plate and thumped a strong triple down the first base line. Robb scored to return the lead to Uintah. In the fifth inning, Uintah's play sagged a little and a passed ball combined with a couple of throwing errors gave Union a golden opportunity. oppor-tunity. The Cougars had placed runners run-ners on first and third from Uintah's mistakes. While it appeared that another Union score was eminent, the Lady Utes regrouped defensively defensive-ly to strand both runners. Counting these two runners.
