Park City Dance Club The Park City Dance Club will resume its Wednesday sessions at Park City Dance Academy, 6558 Creekside Ln., on April 29 from 8:15 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. The club is the Summit County arm of BallroomUtah in Salt Lake City. Saturday, May 2 Wine & Swine Pig Roast Fundraiser for Peace House The annual Wine & Swine Pig Roast fundraiser for Peace House will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4595 Silver Springs Dr., on Saturday, May 2, at 6 p.m. The event will feature a barbecue dinner, ice cream sundae bar, games for the kids and live music by Dusty Boxcars. Hazardous Waste Collection Recycle Utah will host its annual hazardous waste collection at Canyons Resort on Saturday, May 2. Residential waste will be collected from 9 a.m. until noon. Business waste will be collected from noon to 1 p.m. The primary goal is to keep toxic chemicals and heavy metals out of the environment. Saturday Climbing Wall at the Swaner EcoCenter The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr. at Kimball Junction, offers climbing on Saturdays from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The climbing wall is open to most ages. The EcoCenter will provide the climbing harness, but climbers must wear closed-toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver. Silver Creek Rd., will offer Single and Parenting, a 13-week program aimed at providing support and encouragement for single parents, every Tuesday, starting April 28, at 6 p.m. This faith-based program runs approximately 1 ½ hours and includes a DVD presentation featuring life-changing teaching from counselors and professionals who have been, or who work with, single parents.
