Boys and girls cross country competes BY ANDY OESTER It's the thrid week of school, and already I can tell that it is going to be a slam-bang year. We have en-thusiastiac en-thusiastiac and engergetic student body officers, tlaent departments in all areas, and a great student body. School actrivities are abundant, and they start Homecoming Week Sept. 17-21. Some of the events planned are: a bonfire (Sept. 20), the Homecoming Assembly (Sept. 21) which will be held in the Field House, the Homecoming Parade (Sept. 21), the Homecoming Game (Sept. 21), the first edition of the Davis Dart (Sept. 21, and the Homecoming Dance (Sept. 22). The theme for this year's dance is "A Night to Remember". It will be held in the cafeteria starting at 8 p.m. and continuing until 11:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale the week before the dance and at the door. The price is $10 a couple. The Senior Class Officers have come up with a lot of original ideas for this year's dance and have great faith in its success. "It will be the best! We have a lot of great plans for the dance.
