Show He is survived by his wife, South Jordan; four sons, Kent W. Scotts-dale, Scotts-dale, Ariz.; Gary M., Uintah; Fred E., Layton; Scott K., Kaysville; three daughters, Lynette Jones and Joy Andrews, both Denver, Colo.; Melanie Gardner, Lakewood, Calif.; one sister, Blanche Burning-ham, Burning-ham, Bountiful; 43 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Aug. 20, at the South Jordan First Ward. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery. Keith Argyle Hansen retired October 1984 without interruption inter-ruption of service since 1932. Keith Argyle Hansen, age 76, died Aug. 16, 1990 at his home in south Jordan. Bom Sept. 5, 1914 in Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, to Ernest Ole and Dina May Argyle Hansen. Married Sybil Marie Wendrich Dec. 21, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served as second counselor in the Bountiful First Ward bishopric, 1950-53. Served as bishop in the Bountiful First Ward 1953-60. Served as chairman of the planning committee between 1960-62. He was sustained as a member of the Bountiful Stake High Council, 1962-67. He moved to Billings, Mont. July 1967. Served as an assistant Stake Clerk in the Billings Stake. He also served as a Sunday School teacher and YMM1A superintendent. He moved to Denver, Colo. June 1969. Served as Sunday School teacher in the Denver 13th Ward, a high priest group leader and bishop of the Lakewood Second Ward of the Lakewood, Colorado Stake. He was appointed as Temple Engineer of the new Washington LDS Temple March 1974. He resided in Kensington, Maryland, 1974-81, where he served serv-ed as high priest group leader. Transferred in 1980 to the South Jordan Temple as engineer for the new Jordan River Temple construction construc-tion and opening. There he served as ward clerk of the South Jordan First Ward. Sept. 4, 1983 set apart as a Sealer for the Jordan River Temple. During 1984 he was on special assignment by the LDS Temple Committee to visit the temples throughout the world. He |
