Show Karl Malone holds basketball camp at Bountiful High School By TOM HARALDSEN BOUNTIFUL - For the second straight year, Utah Jazz All Star forward, Karl Malone conducted a week long basketball camp at Bountiful Boun-tiful High School. This year's camp featured one new twist, an adult's fantasy camp held each evening. Over 300 participants par-ticipants took part in this year's camps. Highlights of the week included personalized instruction from Malone and Jazz teammate John Stockton. Other camp instructors included Jazz players Thurl Bailey, Eric Leckner, Mike Brown, and Ray Brown. Local coaches participating par-ticipating as instructors included Bountiful High coaches Mike Hall, Brad Christensen, Dave Wigham, and Jill Avery; and Woods Cross coaches Steve Hill and Mike Evans. Collegiate stars Josh Grant of the University of Utah and Kendall Youngblood of Utah State also participated. par-ticipated. During the camp players received instruction on basketball fundamentals, team work, and individual in-dividual skills. Each camp participant partici-pant also received a Wilson pro basketball for their participation. Malone will also put on camps in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana later this summer. r Photos By John W.
