Show Disagrees with Clipper articles Dear Editor: It was poor business to send a Davis County Clipper renewal notice the day after your May 30, 1990 edition was printed. I am returning it unpaid. If this paper is reflective of the quality and type of journalism I can expect in the coming com-ing months, I see no point in renewing renew-ing my subscription. This week's issue does not come close to my expectations ex-pectations of responsible journalism. jour-nalism. If you do not have the time nor the staff to objectively report both sides of issues, then you should consider leaving the issues out of the paper. f I can see that we may have an interesting in-teresting congressional race this year. It would be nice to get objective objec-tive information on all sides of the issues by reading your paper but cannot if only one side of the campaign cam-paign is printed. If you agree that your articles, "Bountiful blamed for selling out to pipeline company," "Billings challenges Hansen...," "Demo accuses ac-cuses Hansen...," etc. lacked appropriate ap-propriate balance, please let me know and return the renewal forms. Respectfully, Brent W. Hale Bountiful i |
