Show 'Great Dads' named in contest Deli; his traditional Father's Day tie from Mr. Mac; a pie of his choice from Marie Callender's; a $5 gift certificate from Barton Shoes; a "Stress ball' from Carr Stationery; an $8 gift certificate from Chris-tensen's; Chris-tensen's; a pail of brownies and half-gallon of chocolate milk from Winder Dairy; a $10 gift certificate from Duncan Electric; and a one-year one-year subscription to the Davis County Clipper. In addition to these prizes, Bob Finklea won the drawing between the five winning fathers to receive a "Best Chair' recliner from Lakewoods Home Furnishings. All of the dads entered in the contest con-test are outstanding fathers. Following Follow-ing are some of the comments and names of dads nominated. Garvin Carlile. Bountiful, "He is a marvelous father of five children;" Vestil Harrison, Centerville, "Dad The five great dads chosen in the "Great Dads" contest have a variety varie-ty of outstanding qualities that certainly cer-tainly qualify them for the title. The five men were chosen from many entries from proud children all over Davis County. The children who submitted their father's names are to be congratulated for taking the time to tell their dads just how great they are. The winners are Bob Finklea of North Salt Lake, Robert Rose of Bountiful, Robert Ellis of Woods Cross, Brent McNamara of Bountiful, Boun-tiful, and Charles East of Centerville. Center-ville. The Clipper would like to congratulate con-gratulate all of the winning fathers and all of the great dads nominated in the contest. Generous area merchants have supplied gifts for each of the fathers.
