Show Warner named 'student of month' in Kaysville KaysviUes Chamber of Commerce Com-merce has named SanDee Warner as the "Student of the Month." Warner, a Davis High senior, has many accomplishments including many hours of service she has put in as a volunteer working with handicapped han-dicapped children. Warner, an "unsung hero, spent the summer helping as a volunteer vol-unteer at Monte Vista, where she currently works after school. For some time Warner has been interested inter-ested in sign language. She is a member of the Sign Language Club, and uses sign language to communicate com-municate with deaf children at Monte Vista. Warner's service to handicapped children is the central focus in her life. She emits warmth and caring and genuinely cares about other people. She plans to continue on in her work, majoring in education at Weber State. After graduation, she plans to work as a teacher of handicapped han-dicapped children. An avid reader and horseback rider, Warner also enjoys camping, roller skating and drawing portraits. She enjoys school and is a diligent student. |
