"The Little Mermaid" soundtrack sound-track already stands as the in-( dustry's all-time top seller for an animated film. During the first 17 days of its release, "The Little Mermaid" made money at the box office too, with more than $23 million in receipts. "The Little Mermaid" is also running 30 percent per-cent ahead of Disney's animated champion,"01iver and Company," which became the industry's all-time all-time top animated moneymaker. For some reason, Hans Christian Anderson's classic tale of the little mermaid appeals to both children and adults. "The Little Mermaid" is a love story, an adventure, and a story about growing up and wanting something not possible to obtain. "The Little Mermaid" is an action-packed animated musical that seems real. The audience goes away almost believing that they have seen a real mermaid, not an animated figure.
