Show Cancer screening scheduled The Cancer Screening, and Prevention Program, Utah Department Depart-ment of Health, in cooperation with the American Cancer Society and participating local health departments, depart-ments, will provide cancer screening screen-ing clinics for women during the month of January in the following Davis County locations: - Kaysville -- Kaysville Crestwood and Kaysville LDS Stakes at Mutton Hollow LDS Stake Building, 1039 E. Mutton Hollow, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Call 538-6712. - Sunset - Sunset LDS Stake Building, 220 W. 975 N., 8:30 " a.m.-3:30 p.m. Call Barbara By-ington By-ington at 825-1221. The clinics will include a Pap test, pelvic and breast examination, blood pressure check, hemocult kits to test for colorectal cancer, health education information on risk factors, fac-tors, signs and symptoms of cancer, and referral for appropriate medical follow-up. All women 18 years of age or older, or who are sexually active, who have not had a Pap test during the past year are encouraged to attend. at-tend. The examinations are given by specially trained registered nurses. A fee ranging from $3 to $22 will be charged-bascd on annual family income and family size. Appointments arc necessary. Although these clinics are being held in church buildings, they are for all women regardless of "religious affiliation. The local health departments participating par-ticipating are the Kaysville Clinic and Sunset Clinic of the Davis County Health Department. |
