Show P-TA ACTIVITIES Bingham Central P-TA A meeting of the Bingham Central School P-TA is set for Monday, March 28, at 7:00 p.m. at the school according to Mrs. John J. Creedon, publicity chairman. chair-man. The school band, conducted conduct-ed by LaVern Dickson, will present pre-sent the program. Nomination and election of officers will also take place. The public is cordially cordial-ly invited. Copperton School P-TA IN CASE OF ENEMY ATTACK ARE YOU PREPARED? ARE YOUR CHILDREN PREPARED? You are especially urged to attend the public meeting to be held March 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Copperton grade school auditorium auditor-ium according to Mrs. Catherine Jenkins, publicity chairman. Leonard Higgins, state deputy director of civil defense, will be in attendance to explain in detail de-tail what you should know and be prepared to do in case of an emergency. Mr. Higgins' topic "Preparedness in the Home" is a vital interest to us all and a-gain a-gain we urge everyone to be i there to receive this information. In addition to Mr. Higgins' discussion there will be a short musical program by the children from Mr. Turner's group, the school band and orchestra. Remember Re-member the date, Thursday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. BHS Back To School Nights Set For March 24 and 31 Two back to school nights are scheduled to be held at the high school, first of which is next week, according to John E. Dahl-strom, Dahl-strom, chairman. f The first on Thursday, March 24th will be back to school night for parents whose surnames run from the letter A through L, both junior and senior high. The following Thursday, March 31 will be back to school night for parents whose surnames run from M through Z, both junior and senior high. Parent conferences with teachers teach-ers will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. both nights. Minerettes, Prospectors, Prospec-tors, and business students will assist as guides, monitors and lapel la-pel labelers. |
