Show BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL NEWS by Lexie Stewart GIRLS CLUB DANCE TONITE The Girls Club dance will be staged in the high school gymnasium gym-nasium tonight, Friday. Theme is Melody of Love and music will be by Wally Penrose. Miss Baer and her counselors in the G.C.A. have been working hard on the program, decorations and floor show. Traveling Assembly Junior High took their traveling travel-ing assembly to Riverton for a showing Thursday. The Bingham traveling assembly assem-bly is scheduled to be presented j Thursday. 'Third Quarter The third quarter ends next Friday, being postponed for a j week due to students visiting the B tournament in Provo. All stu- dents are being given one ex-jcused ex-jcused absence to go to the tour-inament tour-inament games. Senior Class The Senior Class ha3 been making out applications for scholarships scho-larships to various schools. Among the usual scholarships, the Ex-Cel-Cis Beauty Salon chose our school this year to donate do-nate their classes completely free of charge for three girls. Junior High Dance Junior High held their second night dance of the year last Friday Fri-day night at the school gym. This is the first class ever to be given two dances in the evening. Colorful Col-orful decorations, an entertaining floor show and refreshments made the night exciting for, all junior high students who attended. attend-ed. Sophomore Assembly The Sophomore assembly was their version of "This Is Your Life". It was completely like the I famous TV version from the mas-jter mas-jter of ceremonies, sponsor, an-; an-; nouncer, secret subject to keep ' I for a new car. Diane Reed, Frances Starley, Sharlene Foster, Peggy Peterson, Joan Johnson, Russell Swain, Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Anderson, and Jimmy Fike. The sophomores want to thank the following for helping! with . lights, sound, props and signs: Bob Nicholls, Dale Carpenter, Joe Orgill, Robert Bates, Russell Swain, Richard McMullin and Dee Laycock, also the faculty collectively and individually for their support and patience during dur-ing practices. Prom Preparations Beverly Wright and her assistants assist-ants aided by Mr. Williams and Miss Culbertson, junior advisors, are busy planning decorations and naming the committees for the prom.
