Show Caesars donates to needy Now is the time most commonly thought of as a lime for giving, es-pecially es-pecially giving to the needy. That's why Utah's Little Caesars Pizza is conducting a food drive called "Hungry Hearts" which is designed to help the' needy both now and in the future. Beginning Nov. 24, Hungry Hearts will begin collecting non-perishable non-perishable canned food items and donate them to needy people and organizations. This campaign will continue through Dec. 17. Earlier, Little Caesars conducted an offshoot of this program whereby it donated a portion of proceeds from the sale of its popular crazy (garlic) bread. These donations helped the funding of food pantries and food for shelters in the area. Proceeds from the bread sales will be presented to Gov, Norman ; Bangerter at a meeting Nov. 30 in the governor's office. Hungry Hearts has grown each year of existence. It has increased from 25,000 pounds of food in 1986 to 76,000 pounds last year. Sponsors Spon-sors of this year's program, besides Little Caesars, are KUTV Television Tele-vision and Smith's Food Stores. |
