Show office upon payment of a fifty dollar ($5000) deposit per set- Deposits will be refunded to plan holders that submit a bona fide bid and who return such plans and specifications in good condition within ten (10) days after award of bid. . Each bid shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check made payable to the City of Bountiful Light & Power,, or bond in an amont equal . to ten percent (10) of the Bid amount, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the proposed contract within the time specified. Should any Bidder, whose proposal has been accepted by the City of Bountiful Light & Power, refuse, fail or neglect to execute the attached contract, and furnish a satisfactory surety bond, therefore, it is understood and agreed between the City of Bountiful Light & Power, and said accepted. Bidder that said tep percent (10) should be the amount of liquidated damages occasioned by such failure, refusal or neglect and that thereupon said City of Bountiful Light & Power, shall receive said security and use the; proceeds in payment of said damages, - The security accompanying rejected Bids will be promptly returned to the Bidders- upon the signing of the contract, or rejection of bids. A bond must be executed by a corporation authorization to contract as a surety in Utah. , ; No Bidder may, withdraw his proposal for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of ountiful Light & Power reserves the right to reject any andor .; all bids, or any part of the bid , and to waive any informalities in any bid as - :its best interest may- appear. A decision to reject any or all bids or the award of a contract will be made in thirty (30) days after the bids are opened. The successful Bidder shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in an amount equal to 'one hundred percent (100) of the contract price, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Notice of Award.
