I c a n t stand iL.'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." We all know how dull and long January can be. It follows that exciting excit-ing and busy holiday season, and frankly, can be somewhat of a let down. Well, there are a few events that can liven this drabby month. First, is my birthday, and second, is Rag-n-Rock Week. It starts Jan. 23 and goes through Jan. 27. For those who aren't familiar with what this entails, it resembles a mini home-coming home-coming week - kind of. There will be lots of activities, as well as food, music and fun. Some of the biggest attractions are the Winter Olympics and the all-night-stomp (all of the money raised will be donated to a charitable cause). Rag-n-Rock has been a tradition at -Viewmont for a long time. Even my seminary teacher remembers it from when he went to Viewmont! . Amazing, Life is fun and jolly dur ing this time, so don't forget to participate. par-ticipate. Listen to announcements for details, as well as watch the walls for flyers: ' - As for our weekly happenings, there is girls' basketball at Highland at 4 on Jan. 12, and wrestling at VHS at 7:30 against Davis. On Friday, Fri-day, there is boys' basketball at East at 7:30, and the Box Elder wrestling - tourney at 3. On Jan. 17 is boys' basketball at WX at 7:30. Good luck to all of the teams!
