Show Falcon V ; ; Foram An event to be marked on everyone's every-one's calendar, a night of pure great entertainment, Clearfield High - school's Dance Company presents a showcase of their talent, especially by peiforming Starlight express, on Jan. It and 19. The evening will be filled with dancing and music by one of Clearfield's most talented . groups, Dance Company. Dance Company has come along way under the three years Mrs. Jaynee Welly has been the instructor. instruc-tor. There are 22 members of Dance Company, including four boys. All have worked very hard on each of their performances, whether it be an . assembly, a local school or a special performance night of their own; The presidency of Dance Company Com-pany consists of the following: . Krista Presnell, president; Wendy Swan, vice president; Laura - Shavers, secretary; and the two his- - torians are Carina v Woodruff and Lisa Szumski. All work very hard to make Dance Company a huge success.' Their next main project coming up is a showcase review performed with the productions class, (the ones " who brought us T'thc Sound of Music".) They, have worked ex-j ' tremely hard on a special musical, -Starlight Express. For those ilotfa- miliar with the musical, all "the movements are performed roller skating. For the past few months, the members of Dance Company have practiced at the Classic Roller ; Rink in Riverdale. Many thanks to -the managers of Classic for their generosity. t The whole event will take place on Jan. 18 and 19 in the Clearfield High School auditorium. The cost is $2 for adults and $1 for students. Mark Slater, a Dance Company heartthrob, will be performing some outstanding skating and should be worth watching.
