The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance per-formance and labor and materials bonds, each in an amount not less than 100 percent of the contract price. The general prevailing rate of wages, as determined by the Secretary of Labor are included as a part of the Contract. Con-tract. This project is funded in part by a loan from the Utah Water Pollution Control Committee. It is necessary that Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) be involved in this project. Goals for five (5) percent of the total dollar value of the job for MBE involvement involve-ment and one and one-half (1.5) percent of the total dollar value of the job for WBE involvement have been established estab-lished for this project. The work includes all labor, materials, mate-rials, and equipment for the construction construc-tion of a new headworks, chlorination facility and utility water pumps. The components to be constructed include installation of an in-channel flow meter, mechanical and manual bar screen, grit chamber, flow splitter, headworks building and appurtenances, appurte-nances, chemical feed equipment, and related safety features, chlorine storage stor-age area, chemical building and appurtenances, chlorine contact basin, utility water pumps and appurte--nances, and yard piping to tie in "Existing "Ex-isting facilities to new facilities. The work covered under this contract con-tract will be performed at the site shown on the Index to Drawings located lo-cated at the west end of Shepard Lane in Kaysville.
