Show Jack E. Brady SUNSET Jack Emery Brady, 68, of 1359 N. 300 W., died Tuesday, Tues-day, May 10, 1988 in a West Jordan nursing home of a heart ailment. He was born Dec. 3, 1919 in Salt Lake City, a son of Morris Joseph and Ella Frost Brady. He was reared by his grandfather Isaac Frost. He married Elna Adams June 10, 1940, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. He was an elder in the Sunset 3rd Ward and had been a home teacher. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He had been with the Civilian Conservation Corps. He had also been a government inspector on the Flaming Gorge Dam. He had owned and operated the Jack Brady Construction Company. He had worked as a carpenter for a number of construction companies in the Salt Lake City and Ogden areas. He was a carpenter for the Davis County School District. Surviving are his widow of Sunset, Sun-set, one son, and four daughters, John Adams Brady, Ogden; Ella Rae Asbury, Bennion; Mrs. Lynn (JoAnn) Schuldies, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Douglas (Karen) Bench, West Jordan; Mrs. Lynn (Mer-rilyn) (Mer-rilyn) Kirkman, West Point; 16 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, May 14 in the Sunset 3rd Ward Chapel with Bishop Ronald Opp officiating. Funeral directors, Myers Mortuary of Roy. Interment was in the West Point Cemetery. Military honors were accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Fore-ign Wars. |
