Show Ducks Unlimited schedules auction Jfor Wed., May 25 A print of a painting done by noted wildlife artist Vivi Crandall is among the items to be auctioned at the annual banquet of the Bountiful Boun-tiful Chapter of Ducks Unlimited at the Oakridge Country Club in Farmington on Wednesday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. The painting of a mountain lion stalking its prey, entitled "Night Shift," was done by Mrs. Crandall for Ducks Unlimited. Only 2,500 prints of the work are being offered at Ducks Unlimited events in western west-ern and midwestern states. Chevron Corporation and its subsidiary, the Pittsburg and Midway Mid-way Coal Mining Company (P&M) are sponsors of the Crandall painting. "Chevron and P&M are happy to assist Ducks Unlimited in this way," said Gary K. Fisher, Chevron Chev-ron USA Inc., public affairs manager mana-ger in Salt Lake City who represents repre-sents the company in Utah. "Ducks Unlimited is a valued 50 year old conservation group dedicated dedi-cated to preserving wildlife habitat in the United States, and the national na-tional good Ducks Unlimited does warrants Chevron's support," Fisher said. Tickets to the event, priced at $50, drakes only, are available in Bountiful from Dave Nelson at 292-4433. The admission prices include membership in Ducks Unlimited, and Duff Willey encourages non-members non-members to attend so that they can become more familiar with the group's conservation work in Utah. |
