Show Students are alienated, Dryer tells Public Pulse Randy Dryer, Associated Students Stu-dents of the University of Utah (ASUU) president, said Wednesday Wednes-day night that in his opinion there are basically two reasons behind campus unrest. First of aU, the youth feel that they are alienated alienated from the people "downtown," from the University administrators, and from the national na-tional leaders. Secondly, students feel that they are not being treat ed as rational adults. "Some people peo-ple are afraid students are going lo be brainwashed by such people peo-ple (as Jerry Rubin)," Dryer said. Dryer and Dave Partenheimer, ASUU vice-president, were guests on the KUED-TV public pulse program, pro-gram, "American Dialogue."
