Lewis International. In-ternational. The Utes' best performance this season was a fourth place finish at the Denver Christmas Meet in Aspen. Coach Matz Jenssen feels that a third place is highly possible possi-ble and maybe higher if the team can put it all together. A third place finish would entail placing three men in the slalom and a marked improvement in the Nordic Nor-dic events. Freshman Bjorn Malkomsen and sophomore Craig Day will anchor the Alpine team. Fredrik Bjornstad and Dean Draxton will lead the Nordic team. INTRAMURALS Ahmed Kisana, of the Pakistan Tigers, was the individual winner in the intramural badminton championships which ended Feb. 3. Tom Kilgore, Sigma Chi, was second, but Sigma Chi took the team championship, with the Tigers Ti-gers the runners-up. JUDO Nakamura Sensei, a 6th degree black belt, is conducting a judo Ahmed Kisana clinic today in the wrestling room in HPR East. This is for all thtose interested in judo both beginning and expert. |
