GE0RGE S. CM' Assoc. W Associated Student Alliance Editor: The Associated Students' Alliance, Alli-ance, in an effort to bring about responsible, needed change on campus, is currently in the process of reorganization. We have found it impossible to hold meetings due to the fact that the Chronicle has refused to print articles concerning concern-ing our organization. We deplore this unwarranted discrimination, especially since certain members of the editorial staff have allegedly refused to print anything in any way associated asso-ciated with A.S.A. We demand that such discrimination either be discontinued or funds be made available for another student newspaper which will more equitably present to the public the views and activities of the students stu-dents of this University. JULIE SONDRUP and eight others Signal! Editor: It is hard enough to drive on campus without the added discourtesy dis-courtesy and ignorance of typical Utah Drivers. Long waits at intersections inter-sections are prolonged and made more frustrating by thoughtless drivers who don't signal for a turn. It is a law in this state that you must signal 100 feet before turning. I'm sure this won't make driving in this state too much better, but it should help. SIGNAL SIG-NAL BEFORE TURNING! DOD1E ALLG1RE BOB LEWIS Racist redskins Editor: The uproar over the racist advertisement ad-vertisement in Monday's issue of the Chronicle should not be allowed to pass without observing that the University is itself promoting pro-moting racial characterizations |
