Show Advisory Cabinet to meet today Irn-" -i .iT'' rf-i Hi'"- ti-f nil it Friday afternoon Glen Yarborough will make a guest appearance at the President's Advisory Council Conference. The presidents of 200 campus organizations have been invited to attend the conference con-ference in the Union Little Theater at 2 p.m. Friday Fri-day afternoon. Neal Maxwell, administrative vice president will speak on the University and organizations and their roles. Immediately following will be Richard Marshall, vice president of Evans Advertising. He will speak on public relations. Major General Max E. Rich, head of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce will talk about financing. financ-ing. Karl Richards will lecture on "organizing your cause." Sometime during the conference Glenn Yarborough Yarbor-ough who arrives in Salt Lake at 1:10 p.m. will make a special appearance. Following the speakers all presidents are invited in-vited to attend a dinner and dance at Fort Douglas whica starts at 7:30 p.m. Presidents not attending the conference are reminded that if they do not vote on motions their support is assumed unless they are there. The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to jld pass motions on pertinent campus issues that 6 have cme to the attention of organization mem-j mem-j bers, Scott Anderson, president, said. The advisory committee also opposes executive council motions contrary to student opinion. Regular meetings for Advisory Cabinet will be Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Scott Anderson is the president of Advisory Council. The Council will hold its first meeting this afternoon in the Union and Fort Douglas Club. |
