Cafeteria Food Improve As Tuition Increases $6(i By BARBARA LARSON Beginning fall quarter students will have to meet a $60 increase in rates over this year in order to live in the residence halls. This announcement has been met with a great deal of opposition from the dorm students. In a survey of the 81 girls living in Car lson Hall, 18 said they would not return next year due directly to the housing rise. These students feel that the cost of their education educa-tion is high enough without the addition ad-dition of extra costs. But, are these costs really extra? Of the $60 increase, $45 is to go to the cafeteria service. Food ,has for a long time been a bone of contention con-tention with students but the numerous num-erous committees formed to do something about the problem have discovered the same m food service people are w0fe a ridiculously low budget P ' cated by rising food costs. PS The long overdue redeco Ballif lounge, cafeteria, and7 son Hall was essential and e J sive.
