Show 'Fourposter' o Play In Graduate Recital By THOR MARKOVITCH "The Fourposter," the Jan de Hartog comedy on which a hit Broadway musical is based, will be presented in a graduate recital March 15 and 16 in the Babcock Theatre. Curtain at 8 p.m. and free to the public. Directed by David Dean, who has won plaudits for his productions of absurdist and avant-garde dramas as well as for his acting (his most recent role was Valere in Moliere's "Tartufte" at Pioneer Theatre), "The Fourposter" is a situation comedy which portrays the lives of a married couple from their wedding night in the 1890's through spats and the raising of children until the children are grown and it is time to give over the big fourposter four-poster bed to a younger couple. The two roles are taxing, involving involv-ing as they do the characterization of two persons over a 30-year period. per-iod. Madelon Thomas and Joseph Lambie, married in real life (and also prominent in the cast of the recent "Tartuffe"), will act in Mr. Dean's play.
