Show Symphony 'on Tour' The 85-member Utah Symphony Sym-phony Orchestra announced plans to conduct concerts throughout the Intermountain area. President of Utah Symphony Board, Mr. Wendell Ashton, said: "Utah Symphony belongs to the entire state, to the entire area. Hence it should be brought to as many communities ; and schools as feasible. Last season sea-son we gave 91 concerts in some 16 different communities1 in Utah. Next season our aim is to make it possible for many more Utahns to hear their fine orchestra or-chestra in their own city." The Utah Symphony has advised ad-vised the local school districts as to its availability and js look- ing for local sponsors for evening eve-ning concerts in communities, and encourages . any interested groups to step forward. Past sponsors have included Chambers Cham-bers of Commerce, private clubs, church groups, and even pri-, vate citizens. .., .
