Show UCHE Sets 23rd Meet, Plans 'Re-Study' Talks The 23rd annual meeting of the Utah Conference on Higher Education Educa-tion which will take place on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City, Sept. 7, 8, 9, will feature as a major speaker for the event Dr. Leland L. Medsker, acting chairman, Center for the Study of Higher Education, Berkeley, California. Cali-fornia. OVER THE last several years Dr. Medsker has been conducting national na-tional research on changing patterns pat-terns in higher education. His presentation pre-sentation before the UCHE will discuss the findings and implications implica-tions of his "Nation-wide Restudy of the Community College." Also, Dean E. McHenry, chancellor, chancel-lor, University of California at Santa Cruz, and Dr. Mildred Peters, professor of Guidance and Counseling, Coun-seling, Wayne State University, Detroit, De-troit, Michigan, will be featured speakers. Plans for this 23rd meeting of the UCHE are being finalized by the steering committee of Henry H. Frost, President, University of Utah; Dello G. Dayton, Vice President, Presi-dent, Weber State College; N. Blaine Winters, Secretary-Treasurer, State Office of Education; J. Stewart Williams, Past President, Utah State University; H. Reed Christensen, Snow College; Armin J. Hill, Brigham Young University; and Kent Myers, College of Southern South-ern Utah. Faculties and staffs of all Utah institutions of higher learning, both public and private, will join in this three-day meeting.
