Show Institute Hails Profs Two University professors will present the results of their research at the national meeting of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical Met-allurgical and Petroleum Engineers in New York City, Feb. 16-20. DR. MILTON E. Wadsworth, professor pro-fessor and head of the department of metallurgy, will present papers on the oxidation of tantalum and tantalum carbide as well as the results of recent infrared studies in1 the field of flotation, an extensively-developed process of basic interest inter-est in the recovery of minerals. Dr Ferron A. Olson, associate professor of metallurgy, will present pre-sent a report of work on the high temperature properties of magnesium magnes-ium sulfate as a part of a spec.al symposium of sulfates. |
