Show aaouiu) m vmn with Pat Williams George Delgardo received word recently that his son Mike had suffered a serious accident at La Crescenta, Calif. Mr. Delgardo Del-gardo plans to be with his son after he is released from the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Valentine Valen-tine and three daughters of San Francisco were here for three days this week visiting Mr. Valentine's Val-entine's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jones. Mr. Valentine is a student at a California dental den-tal school. Mrs. Jackie Muir of Kearns has been in Minersville and Milford visiting at the homes of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson, and with other relatives and friends. Leland Thompson of Salt Lake was here a few days last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence East-on East-on were in Minersville at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Gillins, and in Milford they picked up their twin sons, Mike and Mack, who had been visiting visit-ing here. Mrs D. M. Grayson and children chil-dren of Midland, Texas, were - here several days at the home of Mr. Grayson's brother, Mr. and. Mrs. Clarence Grayson. Gordon Murdock is confined to his home with the mumps. Sherrie and Kristin Lish of Bountiful were Milford visitors last week, house guests of 'the Ward Thompsons and A. B. Merryweathers. Mr. and Mrs. Rosslyn Eppich and children will leave the latter lat-ter part of the week for Tre-monton Tre-monton where Mr. Eppich will assist his father, S. P. Eppich, on his farm this summer. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Seltzer left last Monday for Lake Ta-hoe, Ta-hoe, where Mr. Seltzer has been assigned to a Seventh-day Ad-ventist Ad-ventist church and school. He has been pastor and teacher at the Adventist school here for the past two years. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Roberts and daughter Gale stopped in Milford for four days this week. The Roberts' had been in Nam-pa, Nam-pa, Idaho, to get their daughter, who had been attending school in Nampa. While there they stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Charley Char-ley Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Fother-ingham Fother-ingham have moved into the house at 558 West 500 South Street formerly occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowers. Marie Baxter is in Los Angeles An-geles with her - sister Jonelle, where she is seeking employment. A DAUGHTER was born May 10, at the Beaver County Hospital, Hos-pital, to Mr. and Mrs. Al Bealer. 9 A DAUGHTER, weighing 6 lbs 10 oz., was born May 2S, at the Beaver County Hosital, to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mayer. A SON, weighing 7 lbs 4 oz., was born June 4, at the Beaver County Hospital, to Mrs. Betty Jones. 9 Mrs. Dix K. Waddell, Milford High School teacher for the past year, left this week to join her husband in New York, who has just completed a two-year mission mis-sion in the British Isles. They plan to spend the summer in Driggs, Idaho. Sharon Kesler is working for the Mountain States Telephone Co. in Salt Lake. 9 Mr. Johnson, music teacher at Milford High, has returned to his home in Reno, Nev. e Anna McDonald, Elementary school teacher, visited in Salt Lake, Logan and Coalville before be-fore returning to her home in San Diego for the summer. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Shields and daughter Shirleert were in Fillmore visiting Mrs. Shields' brother and family, Mr and Mrs Noble Anderson. JOSEPH HOSKIN announce the engagement engage-ment and approaching marriage -. of their daughter, Janice, to Mr. Frank Lewis, son of Mrs. Ben Lewis. The marriage will take place June 29th in the Logan L D S Temple. UTAHNA LODGE No. 358 held their business and social meeting last Friday evening in the I O O F hall. After the busniess meeting bridge and pinochle were played with Mrs. Roma Carlton, a visitor vis-itor from Timpanogos lodge at -v, . Provo, and Mrs. Magdalena j White receiving the pinochle prizes. Mrs. Faye .Thompson and Mrs. Enid Cook won the bridge prizes. Other members present included in-cluded Mrs. Ethel Smith, Mrs. Margaret Lund, Mrs. Christy Lyman, Mrs. Lillian Fothering-ham, Fothering-ham, Mrs. Virginia Fowles, Mrs. LaVera Meeker, Mrs. Maurine Miller, Mrs. Lucille Raines, and Mrs. Afton Nielson. Mrs. Loretta Cline and daughter daugh-ter Harriet drove to Salt Lake to bring Ruth home for the summer vacation. , Tommy Bradfield and a friend, of San Diego, were here during the '49er celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kesler and " -- children of Adamsville spent Monday in Milford at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Del Kesler. Tuesday morning LaMar Lund drove his mother, Mrs. Ethel Lund, and a brother, Blaine, of Cedar City, to Salt Lake. Blaine has been attending the C S U and is now in Salt Lake to enter en-ter the mission field. He will serve in the Norway mission. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Elnore Murdock and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Johnson were in Salt Lake Monday, to attend ; the U of U graduation exercises. Sammy Johnson was one of the graduates. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers received re-ceived a letter this week from Sen. Arthur V. Watkins congratulating con-gratulating them on their 50th wedding anniversary. j Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson ' f recently returned from a 10-day 10-day trip to Norwalk, Calif., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. I Delos Hollis. Mrs. Roma Carlton and daughter Mavanee of Provo were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lund last Thursday through Tuesday. Waldo of Salt Lake and Cliff McShane of Richfield stopped at The News office Wednesday. They were in town on Telluride business.
