Show Wool Sales Records Needed for Payments Keith Barton, office manager for Beaver County A S C office, advises farmers to be sure and get the proper sales records when they sell their wool or un-shord un-shord lambs, in order to qualify for government payment. Sales documents must show: Name and address of the producer; pro-ducer; date of sale; net weight of wool sold or, in the case of unshorn lambs, the number of liveweight of unshorn lambs sold; the name, address and signature of the buyer; and, in the case of shorn wool, the net amount paid the producer where the sale was at his farm, ranch or local shipping point, or the marketing deductions and net sales proceeds where wool is sold on consignment through a pool cooperative or other marketing mar-keting agency. |
