Show LITTLE LEAGUE MEET SET FOR FRIDAY NIGHT A Little League meeting will be held at 7:30 p. m. Friday evening, eve-ning, March J 6, in St. Bridget's hall, it was announced today by Ben Briscoe and Clauss Marshall, Mar-shall, co-chairmen of the Jaycee-sponsored Jaycee-sponsored recreation program. All parents, team supporters and sponsors are urged to attend," at-tend," Mr. Briscoe said, "as this will be one of the more important import-ant of the Little League preliminary pre-liminary meetings." He said that details of organizations or-ganizations will be discussed, tentative sponsors contacted, and other preliminary business conducted. "We hear a lot of talk about juvenile problems," Mr. Briscoe said, "and that's one reason we are so interested in this Little League program. Cedar City civic leaders are enthusiastic about results of their program, and the interest the childreii are taking in it." Mr. Briscoe also urged that all delegates be prompt, as the group must vacate hall before be-fore 10 p,. m., when the Junior Old Timer dance begins. |
