Show Mr. and Mrs. N. D. Holyoak are on vacation, spending part 'of their time at Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Holyoak and grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. William Davis are leaving for a two week vacation va-cation in the San Francisco area, where they will call on college friends. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Jensen of Salt Lake will be at the Davis home, Mr. Jensen assuming the roadmaster duties during Mr. Davis' absence. ab-sence. Caring for the twin daughters will be Katie Lokers, who has been residing at the Davis home. Herbert and Betty McCarthy and three children of Layton were in Milford during 'the teachers institute last week end, at the home of Mrs. Anna Denny Den-ny and son Douglas. Mrs. Mattie Ferguson of Los Angeles visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rick-erson, Rick-erson, leaving Tuesday for her home. Mrs. Gilbert McGill and sons Gregory and Tommie returned home Sunday, after spending a week visiting Mrs. McGinn's parents, Dr. and Mrs. H. B. Donovan, Don-ovan, and other relatives in Jefferson, Jef-ferson, Iowa. While there they attended a Donovan family reunion. re-union. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Alvey of Escalante visited last week end at the home of their daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Munk. Edgar Moore and family, Marilyn, Mar-ilyn, Joyce and Linda, motored to Provo last Thursday for a business trip, and also visited George and Lou Moore. On Thursday of this week they expect ex-pect Mr. Moore's brother, A. A. Moore and family of Salina, Kansas, to arrive for an extended extend-ed visit in Milford. Mayor and Mrs. Ray Kizer attended the meetings in Salt Lake last week end of the Utah State Legislative Committees, and Mayor Kizer was elected vice president of the group representing rep-resenting the Railway Conductors. Conduct-ors. Betty R. Cook of South Milford, Mil-ford, who has been staying with her grandparents,' Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch the past week while her mother was in Salt Lake City, returned home Sunday. |
