Winding up the big event will be the big, big Homecom-1 Homecom-1 ing Dance, following the Mil- 'ford-Beaver football game, and a special floor show will be a feature of the dance. The Tigerettes have ordered their new uniforms. Each member mem-ber feels they have made a good choice in the uniforms, which must last for two years. o An assembly was held at the high school Wednesday, Oct. 12th (Columbus Day). It was given by the American Legion. Jesse E. Long gave an excellent excel-lent talk on "Forgotten Heroes." The two Girls Staters and Boys Staters gave brief talks on their experiences. A poem was given by Julia McWhorter. Mrs. Bill Smith took charge of the ceremony. Mrs. Bonnie Easton led in several songs. It was a good, educational assembly. o The Juniors are really working work-ing hard for a successful prom in April. They have been busy during the U E A vacatici washing cars for the city motorists. motor-ists. Keep it up, kids! o We are real proud of the fine game the Tigers played against St. George two weeks ago. Our best wishes and support go with the team for Thursday's game against the Beavers. 0 The Milford High School campus is very beautiful, says the Student Council, but if the Gronning and her staff also have a 'fine dance planned. The charge will be $1.50 per couple and profits will help finance our well-planned yearbook. students will PLEASE walk on the sidewalks instead of across the lawns, it will be much more attractive. o The School Calendar is starting start-ing to fill up quite rapidly. From the looks of things this year will be filled with a lot of worth-wlyle entertainment. -o Patsy James and Janice Lynn are both happy owners of beautiful diamond rings.
