Show ANNA McCULLEY NAMED TO PHI KAPPA PHI Anna Louise McCulley, who is attending B Y U, has been elected to Phi Kappa Phi, national na-tional honorary scholastic fra- ternity, according to Dr. A. ! Smith Pond, chapter president. J Miss McCulley, one of 69 top students from a senior class jof 800, will be honored and in- stalled at a banquet Saturday, May 28th. To be eligible for member- 1 ship in Phi Kappa Phi the student stu-dent must have maintained an A or A-minus average during ! four years of college. Miss McCulley also received j the Hazel Nobel award as one J of the three outstanding Home Economics seniors at B Y U. Among other outstanding organizations or-ganizations she has actively participated in are White Key, senior women's service scholastic schol-astic honorary; member of Gamma Phi Omicron, of which she was recording secretary; Alpha Lambda Delta, freshman and sophomore women's honorary; honor-ary; in her junior year she received re-ceived the Margaret Vilate Elliott El-liott scholarship, and was subeditor sub-editor of the year book. Anna, a Home Economics major, ma-jor, will graduate June 3rd, and has accepted a position as Home Ec teacher next fall at Brig-ham Brig-ham City. |
