Show 9 jbunna, 12 ut 9 ckzan.fr By STEVE WILLIAMS The Lady Lions announce a postponement o'f their scheduled sched-uled Canteen to raise funds for a shrub and landscaping program pro-gram at the Milford High school. The Canteen will be featured on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25th and 26th. . Pictures of the Sharon Var-ley Var-ley Dance group, who presented a program at the Seminary Banquet, are available at The News Office. Another Milford recipient of one of Dan Valentine's coveted daily Valentines was Harry Mills, who was cited for his jeep taxi service for school children chil-dren during the Big Snow. We'll add a couple of Milfard News Posies to "Spec" Banks, for forgetting to stop when he was shoveling snow off his walk and kept right on shoveling shovel-ing until he had his neighbor Mrs. Thompson's walk all shiny. Also, Milford News Posies to Roland Larson and A B Merry-weather, Merry-weather, who swapped off at cleaning the walks in front of Mrs. Wilson's home. We'll be awfully happy to pass out Posies to other kind-hearted kind-hearted or . generous citizens, any time their good deeds are called to our attention. j I Popular and more popular is j the Legion Roller Skating ac- tivity begun last week. We j stopped in and watched the kids gliding around the other afternoon, really enjoying the sport. And noticed Bob and Becky Price alternating at rolling roll-ing around the floor keeping a watchful eye on the smaller kids and the beginners. Skating is on Mondays, Wednesdays Wed-nesdays and Saturdays, afternoon after-noon and evenings. An apology to Mrs. Eva Stonehocker. In our report of the March of Dimes committee last week, we inadvertently lett her name off the list. I Mrs. Stonehocker has been the very efficient treasurer for i the March of Dimes organization organiza-tion for the past six or seven years, and we are very sorry to have omitted the name of such a conscientious worker.
